SARA: a choice partner

 

 

For over 12 years, SARA has been working closely with manufacturers of ready-prepared dishes (coq au vin, couscous, paella, and guinea fowl casseroles), poultry delicatessen product manufacturers and conventional and catering wholesalers.

An SME with 85 employees, in 1999 SARA produced 5,500 tons of finished product to be sold in France, Britain, Belgium, Holland, West Africa, etc.

SARA has integrated a deliberate quality approach based on prevention and safety into its company strategy. Since 1997, therefore, its HACCP study covers all the production areas.

Whether it involves 100 kg or 20 tons, each production is quality monitored and inspected according to the specifications agreed between SARA and its customer.

Located in the south of the Mayenne department, in the centre of a poultry producing area, SARA specialises in the slaughter and cutting of culled hens, cockerels and guinea fowls. Whether fresh or frozen, SARA cut products are subject to stringent sizing and a computer based follow-up of their traceability.
